Dear Dan,

As our second project together is now completed, I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for your company's efforts on the construction of our new facilities in Waterford and Milford, Connecticut. In terms of quality, performance and price Carlin Construction has given us the best value when compared to previous projects.

When we were first introduced to your organization during the construction of our new Waterford surgery center, I was impressed with the commitment of your team to meeting our scheduled opening date. Carlin was selected for this project not solely on the basis of price, for yours was actually the second lowest bid we received. Though price was an important consideration, equal weight was given to the ability of the company to meet our aggressive schedule. In selecting Carlin Construction we were not disappointed.
Through numerous design complications and challenges, your company was able to keep the project on schedule, allowing the facility to open on time.

When our next facility was slated for construction in Milford, CT, we were fortunate enough to again be able to work with your company. The Milford facility was complicated due to its nature as a renovation project and the fact that we had existing tenants in the adjacent space. As was the case in Waterford, your company delivered on all facets of the project. Thanks to the work of your superintendent and his project manager, the coordination of the project was admirable. The solution oriented philosophy of this team and your company was invaluable.

I can say without reservation, the quality of your work is excellent. With past contractors we have had little details that needed to be corrected after a thorough Department of Public Health Inspection. These issues are often minor but result in delayed openings. As you know, we had no such delays with our last two projects; this is a attributable to your company's attention to detail and willingness to meet our special needs.

I look forward to the possibility of working with Carlin Construction again. Please feel free to have any prospective clients contact this office for a reference on your organization.

Dear Sirs:

I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend Carlin Construction Company. We contracted them from the outset of our project and have been very pleased with all aspects of their involvement.

We met numerous times in the planning stages. Their building expertise along with the architect and engineers brought about an attractive educational building that met all of our needs within our financial budget. Their established relationship with local officials also helped the project move smoothly from the design phase to actual construction.

One of our main concerns was how the building site would impact our existing activities. I am pleased to say that the job site has been a safe environment at all times and has not hindered any of our ongoing activities.

The ability of Carlin Construction Company to finish the project on schedule is also commendable. Their selections of subcontractors brought a high level of workmanship to the project.

It has been a pleasure throughout this phase of our building program to work with Carlin. I would highly recommend Carlin and look forward to working with them in the future.

Now that we have the official "Certificate of Occupancy" I would like to formally thank you and all of your employees !or building us a truly wonderful office.

As you know Carlin was not the low bidder on our project, but we feel that we received first class service at a very good value. We chose Carlin after a review of completed projects as well as interviews with you and key personnel. What your previous customers said proved to be true in our experience as well--our construction was on schedule and on budget. The personnel assigned to our project, Skip Wise and Paul Paolino were available for planned conferences and made accommodation for my hectic schedule when I needed to review the job. Their attention to detail in every aspect of the construction was very evident.

[ want to thank everyone at Carlin Construction for helping us accomplish what is definitely the biggest task we have undertaken. From the bidding phase to the end of construction and including the last final details, everyone has been most helpful. In our profession when we provide service that is on time, complete, and of high quality as well as satisfying to our patients we consider the outcome successful. Recommendation Letter
Branford Hall

To Whom It May Concern

Branford Hall Career Institute obtained the services of Carlin Construction Co. for the complete renovations to their new educational and administrative facilities in Windsor Ct. The project was an out-and-out success.

This project involved the complete interior demolition of approximately 17,000 SF of existing office area and conversion of this space to new classrooms and offices. The project schedule required that all work be performed, and a certificate of occupancy be issued, within 60 calendar days of notice to proceed. This was necessary in order to allow classes to start as planned. Carlin's team hit the ground running.

Their planning and attention to detail were uncompromising. Materials, equipment and manpower were coordinated in a way such that time was not wasted or lost waiting for people or supplies to arrive. When changes needed to be made due to conditions differing from the contract documents, Carlin responded immediately, effectively and economically. Though it seemed that these changes should have impacted the project schedule, they did not. In some instances, this work was required to be performed during overtime. No additional changed for premium time work were submitted by Carlin.

The level of professionalism displayed by Carlin was excellent. Carlin demonstrates depth and knowledge of not only construction materials and methods, but also scheduling, estimating, inspection and the necessary paperwork required to construct a project successfully. Their personnel take great pride in a job well done.

Our experience with Carlin was comfortable and pleasant. As Branford Hall continues to expand, we hope to have the opportunity to work with them again. We would recommend Carlin Construction without reservation for any project they commit to undertake.

Re: Letter of Recommendation
Carlin Construction Company

To Whom it may concern:

The Manitock Spring Water Company utilized the design/build services of Carlin Construction Company for the addition to our existing warehouse and water quality testing laboratory. Our experience with Carlin Construction was excellent.

Carlin listened to our vision for this project and developed a building that met both our needs and our budgetary constraints. Our existing building was built over eighty years ago. Our new warehouse needed to incorporate both modern building techniques and our sense of history. Carlin's design accomplished this.

Our new facility was built as an addition to our existing warehouse and bottling facility. Prior to construction, we were concerned that we would be constantly competing with construction equipment and building materials for space. Our company could not shut down operation during construction. Mr. John Carlin and his staff worked closely with us to assure that our daily bottling, loading and delivery schedules were not impacted. In addition, the construction site was kept in a clean and orderly fashion throughout the project.

We feel that the planning and management of this project was instrumental to it's success. Mr. Carlin and his staff anticipated potential problems and worked them out before they could impact the schedule. Although there were some changes and additions to the project, the original agreed upon finish date was met by Carlin. In addition, Carlin's personnel took great pride in their work. Attention was given to detail in both the planning of the work and it's execution. The level of quality was excellent.

In conclusion, the relationship between Carlin Construction and Manitock Spring Water has been one of teamwork. The completed facility is one that we both can be proud of. Our company would highly recommend Carlin Construction Company and looks forward to working with them again in the future should the need arise.
